In 2015, Seabourn announced a partnership with chef Thomas Keller, who crafted new menus for the three existing ships and spearheaded new restaurants on the two newest cruise ships, Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Ovation. A fire that caused damage to the funnel on CCL-Carnival Cruise Line‘s ship Carnival Freedom on Thursday, May 26, has been extinguished.
Many of the cruise line’s guests are lifelong learners, and they flock to the nightly Seabourn Conversation program, which brings all sorts of intriguing figures, from Steve Wozniak to Elaine Paige, on board for lectures and casual chats. The fleet currently has seven vessels, the two largest of which carry 600 passengers each. On Carnival Sunshine, everything the sunlight touches has been drenched with an extra dose of fun. Don’t think of Seabourn as a typical cruise line-its ships are much more akin to megayachts, with ultra-luxurious decor, service, and dining.
